Jim Hawkins, President
Jim is the President and Owner of Trans Texas Tennis, Ltd. Jim oversees the administrative, operational, sales, and marketing aspects of the company. He uses a hands-on approach to the construction of courts, and frequently is on the job to supervise the site work, pouring, and finishing of the post-tension courts. Jim started in the tennis industry in 1979 as Construction Manager and estimator for Tennis Facilities, Inc., and partnered with Larry at Trans Texas Tennis in 1988. Jim purchased the company in 2002. A native of Mt. Vernon, OH, Jim now resides in Spring, TX. He is a low-handicap golfer, and enjoys off-shore fishing in his spare time.

Larry Moore, Regional Manager
Larry is the West Regional Manager and covers all of Texas, Louisiana, part of Oklahoma, and other western states. Larry started in the tennis business in 1972 with Tenni-Trak, a south Texas court builder. He founded Trans Texas Tennis, Inc. in 1985, brought in Jim Hawkins as an equal partner in 1988, and together built the company to be the premier post-tension court construction company in Texas. Over the last thirty years as a tennis court contractor, Larry has been involved in every facet of tennis court construction, including hands-on experience, assisting architects and engineers with specifications, and the design of tennis centers. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University, and resides in Kerrville, TX.

Steve Wright, Regional Manager
Steve is the North Regional Manager and covers Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Iowa, Louisiana, and Nebraska from his base in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Steve has been in the tennis construction industry since 1972, when he started in Chicago helping run swim & tennis clubs. His expertise includes all phases of indoor and outdoor tennis facility design and construction. He has served as a contributing editor to Tennis Industry Magazine, and has also published articles in Club Management and Athletic Business. Steve is a long-time member of the USTA, American Sports Builders’ Association, and is an ASBA Certified Tennis Court Builder. He does volunteer work with the Heart of America District of the Missouri Valley Section of the USTA. He is a graduate of Iowa State University, and resides in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
