July 30 , 2004 The project, located at Felker Park in Topeka, KS, is scheduled for completion in Spring 2005, and includes the addition of nine new post-tension concrete tennis courts including one feature court. The nine existing courts will also be resurfaced. The project, funded by the City of Topeka and donors to the Topeka Tennis Association, is a design-build venture. Kansas Building Systems, a Topeka general construction firm, is the design-build team leader. Horst, Terrill, & Karst will provide architecture, and Cook, Flatt, & Strobel will provide engineering services. Trans Texas Tennis, Ltd. will provide the post-tension concrete court construction, nets and posts, court surfacing, and resurfacing of the existing courts. << Back
