May 2 , 2005 Trans Texas Tennis, Ltd., was recently selected to renovate the 8-court Heman Park Tennis Center for the City of University City in the metropolitan St Louis area. The eight courts will be reconstructed with a post-tension concrete overlay, new Laykold surface, new nets & posts, and new black vinyl fence. Four new practice walls will also be added. An ADA compliant concrete ramp will be built for wheelchair access. "The St Louis area is rich in tennis tradition, and we are honored to be a part of its future," said Jim Hawkins, President of Trans Texas Tennis. The project is scheduled for completion in September 2005, and is partially funded by a USTA Tennis-In-The-Parks grant. << Back
